The house

Built for staying
a while, not just
visiting.

One vaulted room downstairs, one loft above. Reclaimed teak beams, a kitchen you'll actually cook in, and a hanging chair on the deck that gets first dibs every morning. oase is small on purpose — everything in it earns its place.

muara

the quiet half of the water.

born of two waters

Four guests, two bedrooms, one long table. muara sits beside oase in the same place, sharing the pool and the quiet — built for the people in your life who'd rather arrive slowly.

Bedroom opening onto the garden
01 — Sleeping

Two bedrooms,
quietly apart.

One on each side of the house, both opening onto their own stretch of garden. Far enough to feel private, close enough to still share the kitchen table.

Open kitchen centered in the house
02 — Gathering

One kitchen,
built for staying.

Centered in the house, open on every side. Big enough for four people to cook at once without getting in each other's way — that was the whole point.

Covered terrace with lounge and dining area
03 — Outside

A terrace that
doesn't end.

Dinner starts at one end and drifts to the other over the course of the evening. Shade in the afternoon, the whole sky after dark.

Bathroom with outdoor shower and greenery
04 — Bathing

A bath deep enough
to disappear into.

Stone, daylight, and a tub built for actually soaking in — not the five-minute kind. The best part of the house is easy to miss on the floor plan.

One pool, shared
by both houses.

Pink and white tile, wall to wall and down into the water — the one place oase and muara are actually the same house.
